The M8 in its two-door form.
The M8 Competition Coupé wraps a twin-turbo V8 and M xDrive in the F92 body. Compare it with the Convertible and Gran Coupé to see how one M8 family becomes three distinct cars.

S63 · V8
A 4.4-litre V8 with two turbochargers supplies the M8 Competition. The compressors sit inside the V, while separate cooling circuits manage engine and charge-air temperatures.
S63 V8 in an M5. Engine-family reference; individual M5, M6, M8 and X M installations differ.

Two turbochargers
Two exhaust-driven turbochargers compress the intake air. Charge-air cooling removes heat added during compression.
M xDrive all-wheel drive
The eight-speed M Steptronic transmission, M xDrive and Active M Differential work together to deliver the V8’s torque. This is the two-door Competition Coupé, rather than the Gran Coupé.
