The coupé without the six-cylinder assumption.
The selected 430i uses a B46 four-cylinder. It is a reminder that BMW’s modern number badges position a car in the range rather than describing exact engine displacement.
A modern two-door 4 Series.
Verify the market-specific engine label and equipment.
The 430i badge does not mean a 3.0-litre engine.
B46 · Inline-four

B46 · Petrol
The 2021 US launch release rates the G22 430i’s B46 2.0-litre four-cylinder at 255 hp and 294 lb-ft. Its single twin-scroll turbo is paired with direct injection and variable valve control.
One turbocharger
One exhaust-driven turbocharger compresses the intake air. Charge-air cooling then reduces the temperature before the air reaches the cylinders.
Rear-wheel drive
This is the rear-wheel-drive 430i two-door Coupé with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 430i xDrive adds all-wheel drive, while the M440i uses a six-cylinder engine.
